How to create your dream life?
Do you wake up in the morning as a motivated person, ready to take the time to do what you are passionate about? Or is it difficult for you to start a new day? Or maybe you would like to know how to create the life of your dreams?
Change begins within us, with our thoughts, emotions and actions. In fact, so many things influence us and our habits, and this in turn shapes the way we live.
We all have the same amount of time in a day. So why do some people have so much energy and strength, they manage to do a lot of things every day, while others are busy with their own affairs and every day there are more and more of them.
The fact is that not everyone can be highly productive during the day. This requires strong motivation, being an energetic person and planning your day correctly. You must make good use of your time so that you can get things done. There are many positive things you can do to change your mindset and your life, but let’s start with what needs to be done first.
1. Don’t always say yes
Many of us say “yes” in situations that will not bring us any benefit or positive result. We don’t have a lot of time to take on everything that is offered to us. In some situations, we just need to say no and explain our position to the person.
We don’t need to become negative and alienate people, but we must make the right choices if we want to create the life of our dreams. If you always say yes to things that are not necessary or will drain you, then you will lose motivation and energy to live. And if we say “yes” to those situations that we like, then in this case we will become happier and more energetic.
2. Get more rest
I know the feeling when you have to work 10-12 hours a day to feed yourself and your children. But your job shouldn’t take up most of your time. You need to set aside more time for yourself and for relaxation so that you can think more about where to go next. Start by stopping saying yes to everything that I mentioned above. When I did this, I immediately had more free time for myself, my family and rest.
3. Don’t get distracted by trifles
Nowadays, there are many different gadgets and applications. Some of them benefit us, but most applications distract us from our work. You need to remove as much as possible from your smartphone or PC applications that do not benefit you and you do not use them in your work.
Also turn off notifications in instant messengers or put them in silent mode so you can concentrate on your business. And in the evening, I do recommend putting your gadgets aside and spending more time with your family or loved ones. In the morning, don’t check your social networks or messenger messages. Leave it for later, and free time, allocate better for yourself.
4. Multitasking
There are many things we can do at the same time. We can walk and talk, cook and listen to music. That is, we can perform not complex tasks at the same time, but more complex tasks, in no case. Since, with such actions, our brain constantly switches from one task to another. And the constant switching consumes more of our energy, which makes us feel more drained and tired. Multitasking and being overwhelmed will not make your life interesting or fulfilling.
5. Perfectionism
Perfectionism is a shameless voice within us that whispers to us that we need to do everything to the best of our ability. He can make us believe that if we do everything right, we will not be rejected, but the truth is that we are all imperfect, and that’s okay. Perfectionism puts us on a kind of treadmill to do things right. Of course, we should strive for perfection, but we are all not perfect and often make mistakes. So you do not need to force yourself while sitting over some task if it seems to you that you did not complete it perfectly. Replace the urge for perfectionism with joy and connecting with new people.
6. People who drain us
Some relationships hurt us. Many of us have people who drain us; they perceive kindness as a sign of weakness. Such people like to be always helped or given something for free, but they themselves do not give anything in return, such people often carry negative. They can be too absorbed in themselves or in their own problems to such an extent that it is difficult to dialogue with them. It may not always be possible to exclude these people from your life, but you should do your best to reduce the amount of communication you can with them. Because with such people, you cannot create the life of your dreams.
7. Avoid self-righteous people
Overly complacent people often appear in our life. Also try to minimize communication with such people. Since, communicating with them, we can adopt negative qualities from them. Self-righteous people are mostly aggressive, they always consider themselves to be right and like to constantly lecture others. Such qualities will not bring joy and delight into your life.
8. Willpower
Strong pressure on yourself ultimately leads to burnout. Instead, we need to figure out what really excites us and focus on those points. Instead of willpower, we can find a community of people who will support us and with whom we will move together through life towards our goals. So you don’t have to force yourself to do something by clenching your teeth, you can find people who will do it for you and much faster.
9. Be smarter
It is not wise to follow the crowd these days. Be smarter, more creative, constantly improve yourself and your skills. If you follow the majority, then you will not be able to create the life of your dreams, since you will constantly fulfill someone’s plans. If you want to change your life, you must change your thinking. No one except you can make your life interesting, rich and beautiful.
